Easter Day

Kennidee was ready to go outside and find eggs.  The Easter bunny was nice enough to broom most on the snow off of the lawn in the back.
Kennidee liked picking up the eggs she didn't realize that she had a basket to find.
McKell found about 2 dozen eggs.  She was a great egg finder.
BJ look I threw in a picture with me in it.  McKell and I finding more eggs.
Kennidee found her basket it was on the porch swing.  See all that snow.  BRRR!!
The brilliant Easter bunny put McKell's easter basket on the top of the playset.  Oh yeah she had on a skirt that Grandma Kathy made for her and Kenni.
Then her dad tells her " McKell slide down the slide".  Wet snow makes you go fast down the slide.  She had a look of pure terror at the bottom of the slide.
The Easter bunny also hid a basket for BJ and I in the lawnmower that I got to find.
Look, Look both my girls looking at me at the same time.  It's a miracle!
The Robert's Cousins and their Easter loot.
Easter 2010 the Roberts Family.  I know BJ looks weird in this picture but I looked weird in the other one and I am posting so he loses.

Easter egg hunts

Easter Celebrations started out with McKell's Easter Egg hunt at school.  Miss Lacy and the Easter bunny hid the eggs in Miss Lacy's garage.
They found the eggs in record time.  They even reached eggs that the Easter bunny thought would be too hard or too high.  He learned never to underestimate kids who want candy.
We went to the Bluffdale Easter egg hunt in the sagebrush.  It was really cold.
Kennidee nose was running her eyes were tearing from the cold wind.  I went with Kennidee and she ended up getting 6 eggs.  Right after I had BJ take her to the car because her fingers were red from being so cold.
McKell did a good job and she got 11 eggs.  She was cold but more interested in the Easter egg hunt.
I tried really hard to get a picture with my girls and their Easter egg baskets but Kennidee just wanted candy.
We dyed Easter eggs at Grandma Kathy's house.  I actually let Kenni dye the eggs by herself.  When McKell was that age I didn't let her I will show you why.
McKell had fun.  She did really well this year not making a huge mess.  We redid some of her eggs to make them darker but overall she did a great job.
Enter exhibit A the Green Hulk!  This is why I didn't let my 1yr old in the past dye eggs.  Why do parents want their kids to have stained hands.  Kenni screamed when we took away all the eggs and dye away.
I tried eggs a new way.  I used silk ties and wrapped them around the egg.  Then you boil them in vinegar water like normal.  I thought they turned out really cool!
