1st Dance competition

McKell was so excited for her first competition.  This is her sexy look!  I think it's weird but she gave this look to me several times.
McKell and the other little girls had so much fun playing together while waiting for their turn to dance.
BJ had finals this same week so he was working on his masters project in the audience.  If I can find the video to their other dance I'll load it.  McKell in her second dance went to do her spin, spun too fast and smacked her face on the floor.  She was really upset and didn't finish the dance.

Dyer Easter Egg hunt

This year I was in charge of the Easter Egg party.  McKell and I stuffed over 500 eggs.  We had over $40 in cash in the eggs so their were lots of adults that ran for eggs.
It's so much fun to watch everyone running for eggs.
The day was so cold that we made hot chocolate.  Everyone was bundled up ran fast had hot chocolate and then came to our house for pizza.
We hid so many eggs that I think that every kid had at least 15 eggs per piece.

Easter 2011

Who is more excited BJ or the kids?
The Easter Bunny hid the eggs and easter baskets at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Earl's house.  It was way fun watching the girls looking for the baskets.  Everytime they found someone else's they would get mad and ask where their's was?
Kenni found her basket hidden on the old snowmobiles.  She was done looking for eggs after she found her basket she was done with looking for anything she just wanted the stuff in her basket.
KC's loved his basket. Uh Huh like he even cared but he did really like the toys that came in his basket.
McKell found her basket hiding between the bushes and the fence.
This is the best picture that I got of them together.  McKell was rocking her new glasses and Goldilock hairdo and Kenni couldn't peel her eyes away from her basket.

Easter egg hunt

We went to the Bluffdale easter egg hunt.  The girls had spent the night at Grandma Kathy's house and went to Peterson's grocery store bright and early they got lots of stuff(stuffed animals, fruit and candy) there.
Kennidee and I ran half way down to beat all the other little kids.  I am so glad that we did because she had picked up like 5 eggs and I turned around to a line of kids coming at us.
McKell got so many eggs that her dad saw a little girl that didn't get any eggs and went and gave her 3 of McKell's.

Easter Eggs

Each year Grandma Kathy buys and boils eggs for the grandkids to dye.  It is always painful for me to let my kids stain their hands with dye right before Easter.
Ahh family picture time!!
McKell's hands were black from putting her easter eggs in and out of the dye with her hands.
Grandma Kathy really wanted KC to take a picture with an egg.  He had it in his hand for all of 5 seconds before throwing it at the concrete.

Going on a treasure hunt X marks the spot...

On one of the sunny days in April our family went for a walk/treasure hunt.  We went around Lehi and found a few Geocaches or treasures.
The girls love to look for treasure.  Well when they find it they like it.  We some times have trouble finding the geocaches.  Sometimes they are really hard to find.
We had so much fun we went walking on the river walkway.  We saw birds, ducks and cranes.  I even saw a beaver working on its dam.  I am glad BJ saw the beaver because I know he wouldn't have believed me unless he saw it with his own two eyes.

Disneyland....Almost

Chuckie Cheese's the rednecks Disneyland
Brian, Alisha, Annika and Ady came with us to Chuckie Cheese's.  We had fun watching all the people and yes, we did play some games too.
KC, BJ and Brian and Ady hung out at the tables watching over our stuff.  I am telling you there are lots of white trash people there.
Annika was so funny she and Kenni both wanted to ride the carousel that was only meant for one person.  Her mom or dad I don't remember which told her not to climb the duck.  They went around the corner and she immediatly climbed up and sat between the duck and mushroom.  I thought it was so funny I just had to take a picture.

Snow days

This is one of the only days my girls played outside this winter.  They would have played outside more but with a new baby during the winter it was hard to get them all dressed  ready to go only to have them freezing and back inside 10 minutes later.

McKell played outside quite a bit but she could get herself dressed.  McKell loves playing in the snow and making snowmen.
