Kennidee Watch...

Well I tried something new to show you how Kennidee has been growing. Click on the picture and it will pop up a new screen and show you a slideshow. I think it's cute but I thought it would work without taking you to a new page. Oh well.... maybe next time.

Sneaky Little Thing! Ain't She!

McKell has been in quite a bit of mischief lately. We will start her tale when she got a bag of popcorn from her Grandpa Larry. She came home and the next day she preceded to tear off the plastic, drag a chair over to the microwave, popped it open, put in her bag of popcorn and pushed the minute button and watched her popcorn pop. I will have to say that BJ, Kinsey, Juan and I all watched her do this we were shocked that she knew what she was doing. The picture that you see to the right is when she and her cousin went upstairs and got into BJ's hair goo and plastered it on her head like her Daddy does. She kept telling me "Mom, pretty"!

BJ went to a school activity on Friday of last week and I was talking to my cousin on the phone, well McKell was being really quite so I went to see what she was doing. I found her crouched and eating ice cream. She looks like an animal ready to pounce if you try and take it from her.

She has been watching me clean and cook alot. I know everyone can close their mouths from the shock but I have time on my hands right now. In a month when Kennidee decides that she needs to be awake all the time that will change but for now it is nice. Any ways back to the subject McKell has been pulling out this little vacuum and plugging it in and vacuuming. Who is going to complain about this? But wait it gets better she has been watching me cut fresh bread with our electric knife and I got a free loaf of bread from the Smith's grand opening. Well McKell got out the electric knife and pulled all of the bread out of the bag and preceded to cut it with the electric knife. Don't worry she only got one swipe at it before I realized what she was doing.

So as you can all see BJ is not the only one who isn't paying enough attention. McKell is really fast when she gets into mischief. She always has this smile that sais I am really smart MOM! So watch out or I might outsmart you! I love her to death and she calls me Honey all the time because BJ is always calling me that. She is such a lovable kid you can't stay mad at her for long.

Kennidee Watch...

Yes Kennidee is still here still sleeping. She is learning how to use he lungs very well and she is learning how to sleep through her sisters noise. I will give an update on her soon.

McKell is not a baby anymore

My sweet little McKell is growing up. She likes to get into my makeup. She loves to play dress up and usually gets the clothes out of my freshly done and folded laundry(drive me nuts when she does that). She sings and dances all the time. McKell is always looking for her "sissy" which is Kennidee she loves to sing to Kennidee. McKell has always been our Monkey climbing on everything but recently she has been trying a new stunt. I put it below so that everyone can see how as she would put it "It's funny Mom". PS I tried over and over to rotate this video and it looks right in the file but it doesn't load that way.

My niece Samantha

My niece Sam babysat last night for me while BJ, Kennidee and I went to Rhett's suprise B-day party. She must have gotten bored because I was getting ready to do a new post this morning and this is what my pictures came open too. I think it is hilarious. We love you Sam! Thanks for watching McKell!

Halloween 2008

Halloween 2008!

Halloween for us was a blast! We carved pumpkins with Kinsey and Juan on Thursday so they would look good for Friday. We ate white chile which was delicious and was gone by the end of the night. Then came Friday. I woke my girls up early got them dressed in their costumes and took them first to work and then we went to BJ's school. At the school they had Spooky music playing in the halls, it really scared McKell. She said "Mom it get me" and then she would say
"SHhhh!". Try explaining to a 2 yr old why their is freaky noises playing in the hallway. Then we met up to go trick or treating with BJ's family. We met up for pizza and then went trunk or treating. We got home around 6 and I took McKell out around our neighborhood while BJ and Kennidee stayed home. McKell kept telling me "It's Fun mom" and we would walk for a ways and I would say do you want to go home or do you want to trick or treat. She would say trick or treat or her version of the words. She was so cute and had so much fun I am looking forward to next year.

Hurrah! I am a Baker!

So the bread above is the bread from Monday which was very productive. I made four Artisan loaves of bread from a new recipe of Brindy's and I made a batch of rolls. All of my bread turned out great. I was really excited that I had been successful.

Today Brindy and I went to a new bread class and came away with a whole new outlook on making bread. We made all four of the items above from one batch of dough. Other than baking we were done making and letting all of these products rise in less than 1 hour. If I had more than one oven we would have had it done from start to finish in and hour and a half. The bread was so simple and the items they make are so delicious. Anyone can make it and it is less than a dollar a batch to make the dough. The Pizza has a homemade pizza sauce that is unbelievably easy. It would shock everyone, knowing that on Monday I didn't know how to bake and I made all 4 of these items by myself.
