McKell's 1st Dance Class

McKell started dance on September 7.  She was so excited and kept asking me when did she start ballerina class.  This is her posing cut huh!
Parents could stay for the first time so I took full advantage of that to take pictures of her.
Watching this class was so funny.  Here is McKell doing her booty walk.
McKell was so tired after dance class.  She fell asleep playing a game on the computer.

St George Geocache

On Labor day BJ and I decided to do some geocaching in St. George.   We invited Brindy's family to come along.  Cardon found the first geocache at the gas station.  Everyone was pretty excited to see what a geocach was.
Brindy decided that she wanted to see if she could find one with the GPS.  She took the reigns looking for it and suprise she found it in what looked like a sprinkler box.
The kids were all excited to see all of the trinkets that were in the box.  We all had had so much fun we went back to the hotel and looked up a few more geocaches.
We went to the cemetery and BJ found it in this pine tree.  It was a film canister wrapped in camo.  It was kind of hard to find.
Next we went to the St. George Rec center and BJ spotted it under this storm drain.  Joe reached under and removed it.
It was a magnet attached to the metal grate.
The last one I have to give all the credit to Joe.  In the clue it talked about a rock.  So we were all looking at the rock.  Joe found a pen cap attached to this tiny tube.  It looked like a piece of trash.  I was shocked it was pretty tricky.
We all had alot of fun looking and I think we may have gotten Brindy and Joe hooked on geocaching.

Pictures finally!

I finally got a new camera and feel like I have been lost without it.  We have been doing so much this summer that I feel like I have alot to catch upon on.  So here goes...
First I have to mention that this cute little girle had been wearing big girl panties for over 3 weeks and is doing fantastic.  She rarely has accidents unless her mom forgets to ask her if she needs to go potty before leaving the house or going to sleep.  She has been so much easier to potty train than McKell ever was.  She is the coolest ever because her 2nd Bday isn't for 2 more weeks.
Last Sunday and Monday we went to St George for my nephew Maddox's baby blessing.  We couldn't leave on Friday because BJ had tickets to the BYU game.  My brother manages a motel there where we always stay.  Here is a picture of 4 out of my 5 brothers cleaning up after lunch.  Handsome bunch I know.
One of the best parts about going and hanging out at the hotel is that there is a pool.  The girls love to go swimming and haven't gotten many opprutunities this summer.  They had so much fun hanging out in the water with their cousins.
The funniest thing happened to McKell while we were there.  We had swam for like 3 hours and had all went in and showers.  BJ was in our room with Kennidee who was down for a nap and McKell and I were by the pool.  I was talking with the adults and McKell was talking to some of her cousins that were still swimming.  McKell decided that she would sit on this little 3 legged table to visit.  Well the table tipped and acted like a slide straight into the hot tub.  McKell fell in and jumped up and looked at me to see if she was in trouble.  I was laughing so hard I couldn't even make it over to help her.

BJ's cousin got married and had the cutest photo booth.  I have never seen a photo booth at a wedding.  They had all kinds of costumes and you could choose black and white or color.  It printed out two identical sets of pictures they cut one for you and put glue on the other one and put it in an autograph book.  I thought it was a great idea a little expensive I'm sure but fun.

Third time is a charm!

McKell and Kennidee are pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of their baby brother December 9, 2010.  Sorry for the explicit picture but I thought this was a perfect shot.  BJ and I are very excited!  BJ stopped watching the Ultra sound after he saw it was a boy.  He spent the rest of the appointment texting and calling people.  It was really cute.

Father's Day weekend

So I still have no camera so I borrowed these pictures from the Lebaron's blog.  Thanks Alisha!
On friday I helped with preparations for BJ's Grandma Olsen's 80th Bday party.  That night we went up AF canyon with Brian, Alisha, Annika & Adalyn.  The girls all had so much fun playing on the rocks.
On Saturday we went to the Pl Grove parade and they went to Mt Pleasant for the Bday party.  The parade was fun for the kids but about half way through McKell told me she was done and just wanted to lay down.  Gma Olsen's Bday party was fun to see.  They had lots of pictures of her growing up and married.  It was fun to see BJ's extended side of the family and the girls had a blast playing with all of their cousins.

Missing in Action!

We had an Easter egg hunt the week after Easter and since then my camera has been missing.  BJ and I think that it got left or thrown away after the party.  I have a hard time blogging with no pictures but thanks to my Dad and Kathryn who let me borrow their camera for McKell's Bday party I have a few pictures.

McKell is 4

McKell turned 4 while we were at my sides family reunion.  We were at Zions Pondersosa.  They had lots of activities and a big swimming pool that the girls loves.   They had a zip line that they open the door upstairs and you step out and fly out into the middle of a field.  Well McKell had been watching people do it and she decided that she wanted to go on the swing too.  We got all the way to the top which was 63 stairs (Yes I really know how many stairs there were,  the guy at the top asked if we counted and then told us how many there were,  my legs felt like I had exercised for an hour when I got down) and McKell looked out the window and started bawling hysterically.
So for her birthday we took her back over and told her she could pick her activity.  She choose to jump on the trampoline that has a harness that you can do flips on.  She only jumped she didn't understand doing a flip but she had lots of fun.  Being that her birthday day we were out of town we had her party on the 15th of June instead.  She had friends from preschool come which was a first for us.  She was really excited to see them.  We also had lots of cousins and friends come as well.  We played pop the balloon, Duck Duck Goose and eat the donut off the string.
Pop the balloon was really funny because they didn't understand the concept for the first 5 minutes of the game.
The donut game I don't think anyone played without cheating. It was lots of fun and she got spoiled with presents from everyone.
I also made her a Tinkerbell cake that turned out alright.

We love McKell and she is getting so smart.  She can spell her name and write it.  She can also identify alot of the alphabet.  She also knows when BJ and I are doing something that we have told her not to do and will call us on it.  She is truly our girly girl who loves to dress up, sing in her microphone and lets not forget the makeup that she loves to put on whenever I leave it within reach.

Easter Day

Kennidee was ready to go outside and find eggs.  The Easter bunny was nice enough to broom most on the snow off of the lawn in the back.
Kennidee liked picking up the eggs she didn't realize that she had a basket to find.
McKell found about 2 dozen eggs.  She was a great egg finder.
BJ look I threw in a picture with me in it.  McKell and I finding more eggs.
Kennidee found her basket it was on the porch swing.  See all that snow.  BRRR!!
The brilliant Easter bunny put McKell's easter basket on the top of the playset.  Oh yeah she had on a skirt that Grandma Kathy made for her and Kenni.
Then her dad tells her " McKell slide down the slide".  Wet snow makes you go fast down the slide.  She had a look of pure terror at the bottom of the slide.
The Easter bunny also hid a basket for BJ and I in the lawnmower that I got to find.
Look, Look both my girls looking at me at the same time.  It's a miracle!
The Robert's Cousins and their Easter loot.
Easter 2010 the Roberts Family.  I know BJ looks weird in this picture but I looked weird in the other one and I am posting so he loses.

Easter egg hunts

Easter Celebrations started out with McKell's Easter Egg hunt at school.  Miss Lacy and the Easter bunny hid the eggs in Miss Lacy's garage.
They found the eggs in record time.  They even reached eggs that the Easter bunny thought would be too hard or too high.  He learned never to underestimate kids who want candy.
We went to the Bluffdale Easter egg hunt in the sagebrush.  It was really cold.
Kennidee nose was running her eyes were tearing from the cold wind.  I went with Kennidee and she ended up getting 6 eggs.  Right after I had BJ take her to the car because her fingers were red from being so cold.
McKell did a good job and she got 11 eggs.  She was cold but more interested in the Easter egg hunt.
I tried really hard to get a picture with my girls and their Easter egg baskets but Kennidee just wanted candy.
We dyed Easter eggs at Grandma Kathy's house.  I actually let Kenni dye the eggs by herself.  When McKell was that age I didn't let her I will show you why.
McKell had fun.  She did really well this year not making a huge mess.  We redid some of her eggs to make them darker but overall she did a great job.
Enter exhibit A the Green Hulk!  This is why I didn't let my 1yr old in the past dye eggs.  Why do parents want their kids to have stained hands.  Kenni screamed when we took away all the eggs and dye away.
I tried eggs a new way.  I used silk ties and wrapped them around the egg.  Then you boil them in vinegar water like normal.  I thought they turned out really cool!
