Kennidee means mischief....

This is Kenni in when she got in my lip gloss. 

This is when she drew all over her arms with marker.  I will give her credit if she was trying to hide because her arms looked like camo. 

Oh yes and my favorite my makeup.  These girls love to be girly and will take any opportunity to put it on.

What is that?

McKell is getting ready for kindegarten and I took her to the Doctor for her shots.  She got to get a fish for being so good. 

Well I didn't even get a picture of the fish alive.  I didn't know that I was supposed to acclimate the fish to the water.  I changed the water and just dropped him back in.

Turn away if this will gross you out, but that is blood spatters from where he flopped around on my counter.  He jumped out of his bowl.  Oh well I guess that it confirms that I don't need any pets.

Lobster trip

BJ and my brother went lobster diving in Catalina in March. 

There wasn't as many lobster as their is in October so everyone caught alot less than they did last time but BJ's lobsters were definetly bigger than last time. 

They went diving off of this oil rig for scallops.  BJ said that it was so cool to see all of the scallops and mussells hanging on to the sides.

Here is an underwater picture from one of the guys that were with them.    BJ said that this time they saw different things then last time.  He saw quite a few sharks, dolphins and seals?  

They had to clean the scallops from these huge shells.  BJhad a really good time and is sad that he can't go in October again.

KC

We went to KC's 2 month check up in February and had been noticing some problems with him.  He was always crying, never sleeping and he wouldn't turn his head.  I started giving him formula a week before his visit.  When he was born he weighed 7lbs 10 oz at his 2 month check up he was 9lbs 11oz.   His weight percentage had dropped from 24% to 4%.  So the formula was a good move because he was not getting enough from me.  Second we found out he has Torticolis where the muscles on one side of his neck are shortened causing him to turn to the right.  We also think he has reflux causing him to spit up, throw his head back(extension) and hiccup.  Needless to say he was giving me a run for my money.  People kept asking me if he was ok and if he was eating enough.  Talk about guilt!!!  I was emotional wreck the whole month of February and I am just starting to come out of it.  I had seen so many patients with the same neck problems and thought I should have picked up on it.  Oh well I didn't and its ok.   

Well we started him on formula every day.  It has helped immensely.  He is also going to physical therapy for his neck.  He hates physical therapy but it is helping.  We have an appointment to with the cranio-maxofacial specialist in April to see if he needs to be fitted with a helmet.  Wow all of that is alot to absorb.  His head is misshaped in the back, his ear is pushed forward on the right and his left eye is sunken it.  All because of these shortened neck muscles.  

He also got RSV in the beginning of March while BJ was in California.  KC does not know how to sleep because he has always been sick or something.  He doesn't sleep during the day or at night.

I love KC and I hope that we get everything straightened out with him soon.  He has started smiling and laughing.  We hope that he continues to get better so that he and we can enjoy him and his new stages he is going through.

Girls weekend plus a KC

 Every year the Dyer girls go to St George during the home show.  Granted none of us are Dyer's anymore but we started out as Dyer's.  My mom bedazzled all of our purses.  Aren't they cute?

My brother Curtis lives in St George and celebrates his Bday in February.  We always have a little impromptu Bday celebration with him.  We always have a good time with him. 

I had to throw in this picture of Brindy.  I thought it was just too funny.  We did lots of shopping and eating.  We had a great time.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Have you ever found out about a family tradition that you have been excluded from?  When in reality you are relived that you were skipped over!  In my family Olive Oil is a staple in the bedroom.  My mom gave it to my brother and his new bride last year and my sister in law now swears by olive oil.  She even gave little bottles of it to everyone in her bunko group.  Wow, my opinion olive oil is meant to be used in the kitchen not the bedroom!!

Valentines

We did our annual valentine cookies. If you notice the plate in front of McKell is extra red.  She dumped the sprinkles on herself. 

 We went out to deliver our cookies.  I don't have alot of good pictures because BJ took a ton of pictures of my butt!!  So these are what I have.

 Kennidee got out once to help us.  While we were taking the picture some dogs started barking.  Kennidee got scared and she ran back over to the car. 

 When we were delivering to Chad and Jonique's they have a side walk lined with bushes and a little hill.  I rang the doorbell and ran into the bushes who attacked me with vengeance.  BJ was taking pictures across the street and Chad saw the flash of his camera and sent Beau to catch him.

McKell had lots of fun at her preschool party.  I only got there in time for the end of the festivities.

Best shopping trip of 2011

I haven't done alot of coupon shopping since I had KC.  We had to go shopping for the super bowl and I knew there were a few good deals out there.  My results are above ( my produce was already put away).  I spent $85 before and it was $25 after.  I bought mik, plates, forks and some produce that had absoluetly no coupons which was more than half of my total.  I felt pretty awesome about it.

Monkey Island

 Alisha and her girls invited us to Monkey Island for the second time.  My girls were so excited to go again.

 Kennidee has a little bit of trouble getting up on some of the bigger blow ups.  She tries really hard and then comes and gets me to help her up.

 McKell loves to take picture in her twirly skirt.  She strikes a pose whenever asked.

 Whenever I ask my girls to take a picture for me they always grab each other around the neck.  This was one of the first times they didn't so I had to include this picture.

 Annika and my girls.  They were having lots of fun.  There were not as many people there as was there on the last Thursday that we went.  So the girls pretty much had the run of the place.

Alisha and Ady got in on the action and decided to jump in one of the bounce houses.  Ady thought it was pretty fun.

Cousins

 

My sister Shawny came down from Idaho and we had a birthday party for my niece and nephew.  I told her she could have it at my house.  It was pretty crazy with only about a 1/3 of the grandkids being there (being that they were the youngest of the grandkids). 

My mom really wanted to take a picture of her 3 daughers.  This is one of the best ones we took.  BJ thinks that all of us Dyer's have issues taking pictures.  It was fun having everyone over but I was so glad I don't have that many little guys at my house every day becasue it was loud.
