Carving Pumpkins

It was so nice outside we carved outside this year.
KC had fun just being outside.
Kennidee only stuck around long enough to take this picture.
McKell actually liked carving pumpkins this year.  She wanted to do everything all by herself this year.
I carved 2 or 3 pumpkins. I don't actually remember how many I carved.

Gardners Village

Our annual trip to Gardner' Village with the Roberts grandkids.  We always get dressed up in our costumes and go to look at the witches.

Steve, Savanna, Morgan, Ethan, McKell and Kennidee
KC was rocking the mohawk
Kennidee got a Cinderella costume at Costco but she knew we were going to see the witches and she was determined to go as a witch.
This cute frog is a new hot spot for me because it is in front of the sweet shop.  I love caramel apples and we got a couple of them to share.
Aunt Jami decided that for her Halloween treat she was going to have the girls get their faces painted.
Kennidee sat so still for the girl painting her face and then one of her cousins asked her if it was dry and she smeared it all across her face.
Roberts Family 2011
I made BJ take a picture by the student driver witch that had flew into the tree.  I thought it was funny him being a drivers ed teacher and all.

Disneyland #2 (twice or two times depending on your dictionary)

October brought our 2nd trip to Disneyland.  We bought season passed because we knew we were going to be going twice.
Our family was so excited to see it during Halloween.
Our first day we took it kind of easy.  All of us got in line for the cars.  I don't love the cars but the kids do so I go.  When you get up towards the front of the line you divide into 2 lines.  Kennidee and I took the outside line because I knew it fed two lines and the other only fed 1.  I tried to tell everyone but they weren't into listening.  Kennidee and I beat them big time.  We got on and off the ride before they even got to get into theirs.
The first night the kids were so exhausted from our trip that they fell asleep on the way back to the hotel.  BJ and I saw Mickey and Minnie and had to stop and take a picture.  We thought it would be fun to take the picture with our sleeping kids.
Shantel and I took the kids on Tarzan while the rest of our group rode on Indiana Jones.  It was pretty high but at the end there was such a fun play area where they got to bang on pots, swing on ropes.  It was lots of fun.
McKell loves Princess Jasmine and was so excited to see her.  I can tell just by the look on her face that she is over the moon.
While the bigger kids were riding on splash mountain we waited in line in critter country to see Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger.
This is just a few of the cousins that were there.
The sword in the stone.  I guess these three are not meant to be royalty.
BJ was so excited to ride the merry go round with KC.
Goofy-KC wasn't sure what to think about him.
KaChow as he is called in our house.  The girls were excited to see the cars.
  McKell and Minnie
At night all of the characters come out to sign autographs.
McKell and Stitch
BJ and McKell chased Rafiki around the town squaretrying to get him to stop.  They had to stand in front of him and wave their arms and yell Rafiki.  It was pretty funny.
Mary poppins and Bert
We saw so many characters that we have never seen before.  It was fun for BJ and I to see people that we have never seen before.
Donald dressed up as a pumpkin and the girls.
Cruella Deville was so funny.  She asked why Kennidee wasn't on a leash.  Kennidee also had autographed her own book and Cruella asked her why she signed it?   I said isn't it a great signature!  She told Kennidee are you famous or something I don't see anyone lining up to see you.  She was probably one of my favorite characters.
I stood in line with Ashlyn and the girls to see the Fairies.  Fawn was the first one they saw she told them to act like their favorite animal. It was so cute.
Kennidee turned the corner and went running at Tinkerbell.  She ran into Tink almost knocking her on the floor.  It was pretty funny.  It was something I will never forget.
Jafar was huge he was probably 8 feet tall.  McKell gave him her book to sign and she was talking about how she like Jasmine since they are from the same story. He took her book and scribbled out Jasmine.  She still looks at her book and knows that that signature is Jafars.
Snow White
If you ever go to Disneyland watch the show and after stay down where they danced.  All of the princess' that were in the show come back out like 10 to 15 minutes after and will sign autographs.  You have to be fast though becasue as soon as their aren't any people in their line they go back in.
I had to throw a couple of pictures in with KC and the characters.  We didn't have him stand in the lines very many.  The trip was so much fun and there will be more Disney trips to come I'm sure. ;)

Kindegarten

McKell's 1st day of school.  She was so excited for this day to come.  She talked about it all through the summer.
She was put into Ms. Peterson's class at the last minute.  There are 5 girls in her class and the rest are boys.  I think their are like 17 boys.
Ms.  Peterson's rug time.  McKell didn't want me to stay with her.  She told me she was fine.  She did great.  No tears for Mom or her.  Dad on the other hand was quite emotional.

Disneyland in August

The locals!!  What more needs to be said other than "Awesome Hair".  I made BJ slow down so that I could take a picture of their hair waves.
We went to the beach.  It was so much fun.  It was probably my favorite day.  My nervous McKell loved the water and the waves.  My fearless Kennidee didn't like it at all and set with Grandma Colleen up on the blankets.
TJ, Jody, Macrae, Kyree, Mckynlee and Brecklyn joined us along with Grandma Colleen.  It was fun to have cousins along for the trip.

We loved our trip to Disneyland and bought season passed so look for more Disney trips to come.

4th of July 4 wheeling

BJ and Colby zooming through the mud.
Wow do you think your are riding home in our car?
They all had so much fun.  This is on Skyline drive and it was so muddy.  There was mud everywhere.
BJ was having fun and hit a ledge in this huge mud puddle and it flipped him over.  BJ said it was the softest crash he had ever had.  BJ was fine but you should have seen his mom and cousin Trevor about to run into the puddle to check on BJ until he popped up and said I'm fine.
Cleaning up in the spring runoff.  This trough is for the animals and is freezing cold water.
BJ was so dirty that he laid down in the trough.  He didn't last very long he was so cold.  They had lots of fun and BJ rode home on a blanket.
