Future Cartoonist? I think not!

Me and the girls went to hang out with Dad at school and they all tried drawing on the white boards. I unsuccessfully attempted to draw Mickey and Minnie and BJ did Donald which looks pretty good.

Valentine Fun!!

Valentines was so much fun. We made cookies and ate pizza (one of BJ's favorite foods). It is the family tradition of BJ's family to take their Valentine for the cousins to their house's and put them on the porch, ring the doorbell and hide. McKell was really good at the knocking but the being quite so that they don't find you was a whole different answer. She was giggling the whole time and pointing at the people opening the door. It was so fun to watch her!

Breakfast in Bed!

BJ and I celebrated Valentine's at home this year. We are all feeling much better and decided that we would make cookies and pizza at home. I told BJ not to worry about buying me flowers (but BJ if you are reading this I do expect flowers on a day that is not our anniversary). Instead he made me heart shaped waffles and sausage. He brought it to me in bed. I know how sweet! He hates making breakfast whenever I tell him to make breakfast he tells me to eat cereal. So this was big!!

McKell and Dad's Night out!

Last Friday BJ had to stay at the high school and
help his sophomore's decorate the halls for freedom week. His students were asking about the girls and so BJ asked me to bring them over .
BJ then needed me to run some errands (see how much we made in change for the week) so McKell got to stay and hang out with Dad. She was there from 3:30pm to 10:00pm. She had a blast and got spoiled rotten. She was fed pizza and got to watch Cinderella on the projector. Talk about spoiled!! BJ and McKell had fun hanging out with each other.

What cute cowgirls!! This is the cowgirl hat that we bought for McKell in Denver. It's cute! BJ and I aren't cowboys by any means but you can have your kids be anything they or you want them to be. The hat is way too big on Kenni but it looks adorable on McKell and you car be sure it is going to get alot of use. McKell likes to wear it while riding her rocking horse.

This past week has been horrible we have all been so sick. It started on Super Bowl Sunday which is a big deal at our house. Thanks to all of those who took care of my house while I was upstairs with McKell. McKell started getting a fever a few hours before kick off and spent the evening upstairs in mom and dad's bed. She threw up quite a few times and is a stud because she only missed the toilet once. She would tell me her tummy hurt and we would go running for the bathroom. I was up all night with the body aches and my sweet husband fed Kennidee a bottle that night so I could sleep downstairs where I was comfortable without the baby. BJ still hasn't quite got a 100% but we are working on him.

Denver!!!

We had alot of fun in Denver. Don't you love the drawing. That is our motto for the trip. We had a few logistics to overcome to have a good time on our trip, but we did it. First we didn't really have any money to buy food. So I made rolls, pizza, chex mix, banana muffins, peanut butter popcorn and we brought yogurts. We went to the grocery store and bought ham, vitamin water, bananas and lettuce. We spent $15 on all of this. We planned on eating sandwiches for lunch and pizza for dinner. Well that changed when we arrived at the hotel. I don't eat cold pizza and BJ called down to the office to find out if they had a microwave they said sure it cost $10 for 24 hours. BJ laughed and told them no thank you because that defeated the purpose of bringing our own food. Well I ate sandwiches for lunch and dinner and BJ ate cold pizza for dinner annd sandwiches for lunch. Needless to say I don't need to eat anymore sandwiches for months. The school did buy us one meal on friday night we got steaks. That is where we got this awesome drawing of the two of us. Notice my busty boobs and BJ's belt buckle. The guy who drew us was grinning the whole time BJ was posing and doing all sorts of funny gestures! It was the best food I had eaten all month. The steak house also has this huge slide that BJ went down a few times he had a good time and his students thought he was hilarious.

Second I am a nursing mom and wanted to continue to due so after I got home. So I had to figure out how to pump when there wasn't students around. Talk about awkard! Whenever we stopped for lunch everyone would unload and we would stay on the bus BJ would make our sandwiches and I would pump. It became interesting when the bus driver got on the bus and started to walk towards us when I was trying to put my boobs back in my bra. BJ did a good job of hiding me but I can't say the same for the van of people next to me. I know they saw my boob. They were pointing at me. Oh well, I thought that was pretty good for 4 days and about 4 times a day and only being exposed once.

Third on the last trip I stayed up most of the first night and kept the girls from sneaking out. BJ made a big deal out of me going straight to bed and not listening for anyone. Well I did that the first night and the second we took the office chair out of our room and sat it in the hall. It was alot of fun to watch the girls (thats the floor we were staying on) try and slip out of their rooms. One of the girls from a different chapter was quite mad that she couldn't go and get ice and slammed the door in the advisors face. BJ and I were laughing and we were glad it wasn't one of our kids. It was fun to stay out in the hall and see all the girls who thought they were going to be sneaky. We stayed up until after 1 talking with the other adults. Not really the sleep I was looking forward to. The third night I think we went to bed by 9 and there was alot of sneaking out that night.

We had alot of fun and got to see lots of animals. The only money we ended up spending was for McKell a new cowboy hat and shirt. We would have bought Kenni one but couldn't find a shirt that was cute in her size.

The Girls vacation

My, My the girls have been falling to sleep in the strangest places. Aunt Jami must have really worn out the girls last week because they have been falling to sleep so easily. They played a ton with all of their cousins and came home exhausted. The girls were really cute when we got home Kenni was awake McKell was asleep. Kenni didn't want anything to do with sleep she just kept talking and smiling to us. McKell woke up in the middle of the night and said "MoM!!" and she would not sleep in her bed after she found out we were home. They had a good time with Jami's family and Grandma McGlone and Grandpa McGlone. Thanks to everyone for keeping our girls happy and healthy.

Quick Update..

Kenni is still giving us a run for our money. This would be her face of "I am not taking that bottle". She was taking a bottle really well and then this past week she decided that she didn't like it and wasn't going to take it. We are trying to cure her of that since we are leaving tomorrow for a trip to Denver. I will let you know how it goes.

Just a quick update. McKell has been playing alot of Candy Land. She and Kenni were given this by Annika for Christmas and she loves it! She generally wins. I will write more next week when we get home.

Kennidee Watch...

Kennidee is getting so big. She has also started babbling in the last week which is really fun to watch. She also is not an angel (most people say "Oh, she is such a good baby"). She know what she wants and when she wants it. If she doesn't get it, you better buy ear muffs. She sreams and gets so upset that she won't eat. This usually last for about 5-10 minutes but it can last longer. I sometimes pump and have BJ feed her a bottle because I know she is hungry but she won't eat because I did not give her what she wanted in time.
We love her to death and most the time just laugh at these tantrums. Alisha I am still sorry that you had to witness one of them. She is a way harder baby than McKell was but maybe that means she will be an easier toddler. Let's keep our fingers crossed, I know it is wishful thinking! Ha! Maybe it will happen.

McKell's first pizza!!

McKell and I have been having alot of fun at home. We made pizza and bread sticks last friday before the Utah game. We watched the Utah game with Brian, Alisha, Annika and Heidi. The burning question did BJ actually root for Utah? The answer is yes, because it makes the conference look better. I think the game suprised most because Utah was not favored.

McKell has become quite the baker she made her own pizza as you can tell with pepperoni and cheese. We love you McKell you are getting to be so grown up.
