We're Home. Thank Goodness for no more time in the hospital. Thank You to all of those who brought me food in the hospital and saved me from the horrible hospital food.
Kennidee Paige was born on September 23, 2008 at 7:57am. She was 6 lbs 15 oz and was 18 inches long. I don't make lungs very well and she had breathing problems like McKell. She was placed on the CPAP like her big sister for 4 hours because she was gasping. After 4 hours they deemed her healthy as far as her lungs went. We found out on day 2 that she had left hip dysplasia. Which is where her hip did not fully form and her femur doesn't catch in her hip socket like it should. After the ultrasound they told is that it doesn't look bad that they would recommend follow up with the orthopedic and primary children's. So we will let you know.
Mom-Day 1 was kind of a blur because of being nauseated and numb thanks to the spinal block. I felt fine the following day until ny shoulder started aching. I found out that this is called shoulder strap where air gets trapped inside your shoulder and causes sever pain. I took pain pills for 24 hours because of this horrible pain and haven't had to take one since. This incision hurts 75% less than last time I can bend over, I can stand up without help, I can blow my nose and I can use the bathroom without help! Wahoo that is awesome!

Saturday was probably one of the first days in weeks that I actually got to sit outside for any real length of time. It was nice and hot.
A week ago Saturday Rhett, Britney and Ava went up American Fork Canyon for some dutch oven. I have to say the chicken and the rolls were excellent thanks to the Walker family. McKell found some left over ash and smeared it all over her face. She looked like a chimney sweep. BJ and I were excited that she liked Ava and even told us when she had spit up and needed to have it wiped off. It gave us hope that maybe she will do well with her little sister as well .
