This has definetly been our summer of adventure. We had the opprutunity to go to Sea World and Disneyland with my brother TJ's family and my sister Brindy's family. McKell was so excited to go with all the kids. We started out driving to where we shopped for a little bit and then we went back to the hotel (thanks to Curtis who got us a room on short notice). The next morning we headed to San Diego. Me and my girls had kind of a rough day in the car. Instead of the kids asking when are we going to get there I kept asking "are we there we have to be getting close"! But then we arrived at Sea World and everyone (me especially) could get out and let the vacation begin.

We got to Sea World and decided that we needed to eat. So I told BJ that we could share a meal. They had a sign that 1 person could have all you can eat for $30.95. Well just on lunch we were going to spend over $20.00. So, with a little convincing BJ purchased this great deal. The rules were that you could only purchase one meal at a time. But that you could get back in line as many times as you wanted. So BJ would buy a meal and bring it out to me and then get back in line and get something for him. The meal included dessert and a drink. We got stawberries, popsicles, ribs, salmon, chicken, and who knows how many waters. It was the best deal of the whole trip. If only Disneyland would adopt this meal plan I would be set.

After watching the shows we decided that the kids needed some time to play and went to this ropes course. Oh my, talk about not being in shape. This thing was so hard to climb and McKell was going up and down the sides trying to find the way up. Macrae and Kyree were also trying to climb. We ended up taking the little girls shoes off so that they could climb better. The best part of this experience was McKell waiting impatiently for her turn to climb the rope that puts you up to the tree house. I was so embarrased the guy in front of us was trying to help his little boy up the rope and McKell goes under his legs and grabs the rope and starts to climb. I was sweating bullets by the time I got down from this adventure but the kids had alot of fun.

We all wanted to watch some of the night shows so we went to watch Shamu and the fireworks. We had a seat that was dead center thanks to my nephews and loved the show.

We had a great time and tuckered out our girls and went to the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed at. BJ and I felt like hillbillies at this place. Once again thanks to Curtis we only paid a fraction of what the room cost. Our room overlooked the San Diego bay. It was such a pretty view. They had bell hops that wouldn't let us carry our bags and of course BJ and I don't carry cash and tried to put the tipon our room but they wouldn't let us. So, they didn't get a tip. Oh well we will know for next time.
