Irrigation day

McKell and Steve had so much fun playing in the irrigation at Gma McGlones house. They played in it for hours. McKell's diaper finally got so full of water and sand that it started ripping so we took it off and just let her play.

Saturday was probably one of the first days in weeks that I actually got to sit outside for any real length of time. It was nice and hot.

A week ago Saturday Rhett, Britney and Ava went up American Fork Canyon for some dutch oven. I have to say the chicken and the rolls were excellent thanks to the Walker family. McKell found some left over ash and smeared it all over her face. She looked like a chimney sweep. BJ and I were excited that she liked Ava and even told us when she had spit up and needed to have it wiped off. It gave us hope that maybe she will do well with her little sister as well .

PS... BJ hates what he calls the freaky countdown clock on the side of our page. I tried to get him to understand it was the only one I could make work. Sorry if it is feaky to anyone else.

Kennidee Watch...

Today I had a Dr's appt and my blood pressure was a little high. High enough the nurse took it twice because she didn't want to believe the first one. The doctor came in and decided that I get to do another 24 urine. Wahoo! Do I love to have to stay close to home and pee in a hat, pour it into a jug and put it in the fridge. As they say "these are a few of my favorite things". Really it is a pain anyone who has been pregnant knows that pregnant women go pee all night. Especially me because that is when the water drains off of me. So to have to pee in the hat, walk downstairs and pour it in the jug. Doing this in the middle of the night is a pain in the rump. The doctor told me he needs me to do even more of nothing for at least 2 weeks (I guess that means I shouldn't have vacuumed this morning). He told me he thinks I am starting the beginning of the end. Well we will see. I may have a new baby in 2 weeks and but hopefully I will last longer. I am hoping for the second so that I can have at least until Halloween before going back to work. I did go and buy crib sheets today after my appt just in case and finished the babies quilt. My awesome mother in law is coming tomorrow to finish painting the babies room and hopefully BJ and I will get that put together sometime this weekend and no worries there will be lots of me having my feet up.

Over the weekend McKell finally decided that she likes her sunglasses. She especially likes to pose with them. I love it when she puts them on because she has a 50% chance of putting them on right as you can see in the picture below. She is getting to have such a fun personality!

Update...

So it is now official I have been off work for one whole week now. My blood pressure went down initially but now it holding steady in the mid range. I finished my last blanket I had to crochet last night and I also finished reading the newest installment in the twilight saga. The book was fantastic!! I would recommend it to anyone who has read the other books otherwise it would be kind of confusing. It took me about 36 hours to read it. I unfortunately am now out of books and projects to do. No worries Aunt Jackie (BJ's aunt) has offered to give me a box full of books to read.
BJ's last day of school was today and he is excited that school is finally out for summer. Too bad that his first contract day for the high school is on Tuesday. He is excited to be going back to school. He has alot of new responsibilities this year. He is the sophomore advisor, he is doing a class that is focused on service and we will be having a new baby in the next 8 weeks.

I decided I better give BJ some credit for how well he has done this summer. I know that I gave him a hard time in my last post but with me being out of commision he has picked up a lot of slack. He goes outside with McKell and plays on her swing set and has gotten soaked in the sprinkler with her (which if you know BJ if he doesn't do water when he is not in a swimsuit).

McKell and her Dad have also been going out on the 4 wheeler almost every night. McKell will bring him the key to the 4 wheeler and he goes without complaining. She loves hanging out with her dad.

He and she love to growl at one another. So if we are ever in a restraunt and you are wondering why she is so loud now you know. making her laugh. McKell and I LOVE YOU BJ! Thanks for all you do for us!!

Our own Little Mermaid!

McKell loves to watch Little Mermaid and she sings Ariel's Song all the time. I thought I would put this clip of her on to show how smart she is getting.
If you payed close attention you saw that McKell found her own dingle hopper and decided that she would comb her hair with it and then she decided to take the egg and run it through her hair. She finished her performance by eating the egg.

McKell and Dad's Adventures

McKell and her dad were at home today when dad decided he needed to use the restroom, leaving McKell on her own. When he came out he saw that she had used her artistic abilities on the new pictures on her and her cousin Steven. I always know when I leave BJ at home to be mister mom that anything can happen. This summer BJ decided that he was going to go to summer school and watch McKell. He has had some very interesting adventures with her. I was working one day and got a phone call from BJ asking me to run over to Smith's. I asked him why and he asked me just to come. When I got there BJ was standing on the outside of the truck and McKell was inside the truck. He had put the keys on the seat of the truck and put McKell in the truck, while he returned the cart. She preceded to lock the truck from the inside, leaving BJ locked out of the truck. He tried to get her to push the button to unlock it but she only laughed and hit the lock button again. She thought it was a fun game. Then that same week he was mowing the lawn and she was playing nearby. He went to look for her about five minutes later and she was standing in the road. He decided after this adventure he should leave her in the house while he mows lawn. So one day I came home from work walked in the door and sniffed the air. I thought wow it smells like baby powder. There was baby powder every where my family room, the kitchen, the stairs and her bedroom. Not to mention she was covered from head to toe. Needless to say he has told me several times since then that he does not like being Mister Mom and that he will be getting a job next summer.

These are the recenct 3-d photos that were taken for me. Last week I had to do a 24 hr urine again and then some blood tests. Britney (ultra sound tech) offered to "practice" on me with the new ultrasound machine after I was done with the testing. I told her I thought the pictures look like clay shoved together.
My testing came back as it always does my urine was high and the blood work was fine. They have been doing all this testing because my blood pressure has been staying consistently high. The doctor asked me yesterday if I had to work and I told him I definetly needed the money but if he put me on full bed rest, then work would put me on short term disability. He gave me two weeks to get my blood pressure down or else he will put me on bed rest.
I haven't done anything this summer except for work and put my feet up. I
wouldn't choose this lifesyle for anyone. I am so bored with the TV I could scream. I haven't got to go 4 wheeling or camping which anyone who knows me knows that I love to do these two things. The only time I get to do anything is if it is nighttime (ie the fireworks or a nighttime parade). I am ready for some real action.
