Trust Jesus!!!

We took McKell for her first train ride (trax) a few week ago. She really liked it and kept asking if we could go again. It was fun to see her reaction to the train but then the inevitable happened, she said "Mommy I have to go potty!". Well we have been potty training for over a month and I haven't really made her wait to go. I always run her straight to the bathroom so that we don't have any accidents. Well on Trax there is no bathroom so what do you do on a Sunday afternoon when most of Utah is shut down. We were where all of the car dealerships are and I looked at BJ and said what should we do? He said well we can't get off her there is nowhere to take her. I told McKell that she had to hold it. She grabs my arm and grimaces and squeezes because she is "holding it". This continues for 2 stops and then I told BJ lets get off at the courthouse and we will find something. We get off the train and run across the street there is a line of trees and a parking lot. What to do? Well being the camping type I run with her to the line of trees lining the sidewalk and pull her pants down in the middle of the trees and tell her to pee away! I think the funniest thing is the tree I chose had a saying painted on the sidewalk that said "Trust Jesus". I told McKell that she was awesome for holding it and BJ and I had a good laugh and we went and got back on the train to continue our journey "Pee free".

Wow I can't believe it! 6 months already!

Kennidee is now 15 lbs 10 ounces which is in the 42% and is 26 1/4 in tall. She is crawling (well army crawling) and is sitting up with no assistance. She is becoming easier to please since she can now manuever to some things she wants. She loves rice, potatoes, bread and ice cream. She will eat anything you will give her. If you don't want to let her have any, your plate better be well out of reach because she is good at getting ahold of it. She has about dumped my bowl several times, you would think I would have learned by now. We love her and BJ thinks that she is finally getting to the fun stage where she will talk and laugh at things you do.

My two girls both at 6 months old can you tell who is who? They look alot a like but looks aren't everything. They are very different McKell was skinny and Kenni is a little fuller. (Fuller in babies is not calling them chubby. In my opionion babies can't be overweight until they can at least walk giving their bodies a chance to work off all those milkshakes.) McKell as a baby was very content to just hang out. Kennidee needs your attention all the time and if you don't she is going to scream. I have tried to decide if this is because McKell was watched by a babysitter who couldn't giver her 100% all the time and Kenni has me all the time. McKell started teething very early as well which was funny to see my bald baby with teeth. Kennidee definetly has more hair than McKell and sometimes I think she may be teething but she hasn't. McKell was still wearing mainly 0-3 month clothes with some 3-6 month thrown in because I was tired of the same clothes for 6 moths plus it was getting cold. Kennidee grew out of 0-3 months by about 2 months old and is now in 6-9 month with 3-6 month onsies underneath to keep her warm.

St Patty's Day

Tuesday was fun we had green cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I made green hot dog buns for brat's and had broccoli. It was delicious. We went to the base ball game with BJ as well with the girls dressed in green. BJ is in charge of Baseball and Softball for the high school so we have been watching alot of games. He and McKell have been spending alot of daddy daughter time together. McKell loves hanging out at the ballpark there are so many little kids for her to hang out with.

It's a girl!!!

What a cute GIRL!!! Emphasis on the girl because in this outfit she was called a boy several times. I don't know many boys who wear headbands. I agree that she is wearing blue but it has Flowers on it and a bear holding flowers. BJ told me that it's because she is wearing blue. Does that mean that I can't ever dress my girls in blue. The color blue really brings out the color in the girls eyes.

Kennidee is doing awesome as you can tell she really like her jumper and she loves to play on the ground as long as she has lots of toys to play with. Oh and if her sister doesn't take her toys because as McKell's says "There Kell's mom". She does always give her another toy to replace what she took but it is usually something Kenni doesn't care to play with like a coloring book.

Future Shopper? Of course!!!

We went to Smith's to get a few things and McKell saw this little shopping cart. I agreeded to help her while BJ took Kenni and got what we needed She did really well for about 5 minutes and from there it was all sown hill. She was running with the grocery cart and hitting into her Dad's cart (this was started by her dad). When I told her to stop hitting the cart she solved that with running into the milk coolers. She was crazy and I suggest that if you are there to SHOP then don't let your child get a cart there size!

Princess Dress!!!

We went to my niece Taylynn's baptism on Saturday and when McKell put on her church dress she stood in front of my mirror and said "Mom I'm a Princess". She is really into princess's right now. If you notice she is not looking at the camera there was too much distraction for McKell to take a picture. Thanks to my niece Sam Kennidee had the cute necklace to keep her attention.

Future Cartoonist? I think not!

Me and the girls went to hang out with Dad at school and they all tried drawing on the white boards. I unsuccessfully attempted to draw Mickey and Minnie and BJ did Donald which looks pretty good.

Valentine Fun!!

Valentines was so much fun. We made cookies and ate pizza (one of BJ's favorite foods). It is the family tradition of BJ's family to take their Valentine for the cousins to their house's and put them on the porch, ring the doorbell and hide. McKell was really good at the knocking but the being quite so that they don't find you was a whole different answer. She was giggling the whole time and pointing at the people opening the door. It was so fun to watch her!

Breakfast in Bed!

BJ and I celebrated Valentine's at home this year. We are all feeling much better and decided that we would make cookies and pizza at home. I told BJ not to worry about buying me flowers (but BJ if you are reading this I do expect flowers on a day that is not our anniversary). Instead he made me heart shaped waffles and sausage. He brought it to me in bed. I know how sweet! He hates making breakfast whenever I tell him to make breakfast he tells me to eat cereal. So this was big!!

McKell and Dad's Night out!

Last Friday BJ had to stay at the high school and
help his sophomore's decorate the halls for freedom week. His students were asking about the girls and so BJ asked me to bring them over .
BJ then needed me to run some errands (see how much we made in change for the week) so McKell got to stay and hang out with Dad. She was there from 3:30pm to 10:00pm. She had a blast and got spoiled rotten. She was fed pizza and got to watch Cinderella on the projector. Talk about spoiled!! BJ and McKell had fun hanging out with each other.
