West Lake here we come?

This is my wonderful husband who accepted a postition at the new high school in Saratoga Springs. He will me teaching Math and doing Drivers Ed. He took a leap of faith and is changing schools so that I can continue to stay home with our girls. He was teaching 7 out of the 8 class periods at Lone Peak and the 7th wasn't guaranteed. Well with all the budget cuts he wasn't able to have the 7th class which cut our income by about $4500. Some might not think that is a big deal but when that is your only income it is very important. BJ wasn't sure that he wanted to leave Lone Peak he really likes the high school and has had many opprutunities to do sports and student government but he is up for the new challenge. He is an amazing provider, father, husband and best friend. Thanks for all your hard work BJ! I LOVE YOU and appreciate all you do!

Longest Update Ever! (for me at least)

I have found my camera dock and have added lots of pics and info on Easter and Spring Break. On our way home from Arizona we picked up Beau, Asa and Sam. They had spent Spring Break with their mom in Arizona. This was BJ's first time to Arizona so we detoured over to the Grand Canyon. I didn't know but Beau, Sam and Asa hadn't see it either. We had a blast we spent way longer than we intended to, but it was worth it. Beau and Asa were a little timid at first to get close to the edge but they did it. We got some way cool pictures. That night we stayed at Curtis's hotel again and the kids kept telling me how nice the room was. We went swimming that night from 9:50-11:00 and then had pizza delivered. Talk about fun! The next morning we went swimming again. Here are some more pictures that I thought needed to be seen bigger than the slide show.....

Arizona

On Tuesday we were sitting around and BJ said "Lets go see your Mom". I looked at him and said are you serious he said yes. So for spring break we went to Arizona. We stayed in St. George that night and ate with Curtis and Marissa. Thanks for the great food and the room. Our suite was amazing. We had a ton of fun we drove BJ around Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and Prescott. My mom and Doug were great host feeding us good food and taking us 4 wheeling. We had so much fun. Oh wait that is except for BJ. I have never heard him whine so much on a 4 wheeler. We started out with McKell in the front and me driving. BJ was holding Kennidee behind me. He was moaning and groaning and telling me that his hip were going to break and does it always hurt this much. We had only been on the bike for maybe a mile. I was laughing so hard. BJ kept telling me "You have to stop my back is going to break. I would start laughing harder and tell him to buck up. I even held Kennidee and McKell in the front and he was by himself on the back still whining. I don't think he will ever ride like that again. I had mercy on him and rode on the back with McKell and he rode in the front with Kennidee. Thanks again Mom and Doug we had a good time.

Easter in Mt. Pleasant

We went to Mt. Pleasant for Easter. Grandma Olsen got to go home for the weekend so we thought it would be fun to spend it with her. BJ and I got to sleep in his cousin Kody's room. I think that bed has been around for a few decades (Ha!) because BJ and I were awake all night trying not to squish our girls who were in the middle of the bed. I think the springs must be broken becuase you are constantly feeling like you are rolling into the middle. The second night we slept width wise with our feet hanging off the bed. It worked much better.
Saturday was suppose to be the easter egg hunt but due to weather they called it off and rescheduled for Monday. We decided to go 4 wheeling on Saturday. We left Kennidee with Aunt Teresa and Grandma Olsen and that was a treat for me and a disaster for them. Her binki was misplaced and she screamed unless she was standing. Earl got in the truck to come and find me and when he did he told me something like "she is ******* a brick you better hurry" . I was laughing and when I got there she was crying but Aunt Teresa said "I hope you didn't hurry because I was fine with it". I guess Grandpa Earl couldn't take the noise. :)
We stayed until Monday so that McKell could do the Easter egg hunt because she had so much fun last year. They do the 0-3 down in the horseshoe pit. If you look at the first picture you can see everyone lined up at the main entrance. Well we decided that we should have McKell go through the other entrance where no one else was. Needless to say she made out like a bandit!! Two easter egg baskets full. She got six coupons for free ice cream at Wheeler's. Ash helped Kennidee try and get a few eggs. Then we went with Aunt Teresa, her girls,Tonya, Tonya's kids and Ash and flew Kites. McKell has a ton of fun on Monday and we are so glad we stayed. If I get a copy of the picture with all 12 of us sitting down eating ice cream I will post it. It was way FUN!!

Dyeing Eggs

The festivitied began at Grandma Kathy's. She made soup for dinner which was delicious. I think Kennidee ate a whole bowl all by herself. She loved it. We had lots of fun! I need to relax a little because I wouldn't let Kennidee dye easter eggs, I didn't want to deal with the mess. McKell bought tongs for her and the 2 little boys. She only used hers for the first few and then she resorted to her fingers these ended up being a bluish-green.

Kennidee Watch...

Kennidee has been doing alot of growing up. She can crawl (BJ would call it scooting) and follow me every where I go. She sits up and can stand on the furniture. She does still tip over while standing but it is her favorite thing. She also got a ponytail in her hair right after she turned 6 months. I was so excited for this because McKell didn't have enough until after she was 1. Kennidee is still a pill but we love her.

Funny Story!

No, I am not moving. We wish we could move into a bigger house but no money. My dad recently bought a vinyl cutter and I have been working on signs for him. He was in Arizona this past week attending his granddaughter's funeral (Kathryn's granddaughter). So I put my tester sign on my website so that he could see it because he was having trouble opening it in his email. I am doing vinyl signs and sayings etc... for him and others trying to make some money!
